Canadian war metallers REVENGE return with two new songs. The 'Deceiver.Diseased.Miasmic' EP represents a new chapter in the band’s nihilistic and hateful mission against the world. Immersed in a thick layer of sonic muck, the beastly grunts and spiteful screams, the crusty guitar sound and the assaulting drums drown out any pretense of accessibility and affability. ‘Deceiver.Diseased.Miasmic’ emanates a grubby atmosphere, pushing the limits even further than on previous efforts.

Earlier this spring, SCHEUSAL released their debut album, Urwahn, the so-far-mysterious entity strikes while the iron's red-hot with Fressfeind. Thankfully, not much has changed here on this second full-length. Pure 'n' proud Teutonic black metal is still the order of the day, but just like Urwahn did so stridently, Fressfeind further twists SCHEUSAL's unique iteration of German steel.

Die schwedische Instanz SHINING wird am 15. September 2023 ihr selbst betiteltes 11. Studioalbum über Napalm Records veröffentlichen. Die 1996 gegründete Band gilt als eine der kontroversesten und musikalisch brillantesten Bands der Black Metal-Szene. Auf ihrem elften Werk präsentieren sie sich noch düsterer und brutaler als je zuvor. Laut eigener Aussage wird Shining "eine abwärts gerichtete Reise in Stereo sein, die die Welt in eine hypnotisierende, unentrinnbare Dunkelheit tüncht".  

Mit dem Album „König von Thule“ erschafft Traktates ein finsteres, kompromissloses Black-Metal-Werk, dass rohe musikalische Gewalt miteinander vereint. Das Album durchzieht eine Atmosphäre von Verfall, Treue, Tod und unausweichlicher Vergänglichkeit.
