Faithful to their respective style, the two outfits launch themselves into blasphemous tirades, Délétère opening hostilities with 3 odes to chaos and pestilence, followed by 4 occult and satanic hymns from Sarkrista. Both bands are on top of their game on this recording, which is complimented by an excellent production as well as a mastering courtesy of Tehom Productions, so that the whole is more coherent.
At times tragic, at times folkloric, melancholy giving way to bloodlust, Ab Amitia Pulsae proves once again that MAVORIM are uniquely adept at fully coloring within the lines of black metal with the boldest and bravest hues.
