For a decade now, Finland's WHITE DEATH have built a small-yet-formidable canon of work that's come to define modern underground black metal in their nation. It's no secret that Finland has possessed one of the most potent black metal scenes from the early '90s onward, and with each new generation that picks up the torch, some are contenders and others are just content to uphold "the Finnish sound."
The fifth album from Ukrainian masters of Pagan/Atmospheric Black Metal KHORS, originally released in 2012. This brand new 2024 Drakkar Productions reissue comes in a 3-part Digipack format with a picture printed CD.
Compilation of work from 2017 to 2020 featuring tracks from"Ces choses mortes" cassette previously released by Les Productions Hérétiques, a an alternative version of a track featured on the "Vestiges gaspésiens" split and another rare song. Be prepared as "Black Metal Butchery" is an unrelenting furious attack against civilization.
We are sure it will be hard to understand and take this release. It consists of 6 very peculiar ambient tracks which were made in collaboration with Clin, keyboardist of Ukrainian cult band Reusmarkt. It also contains 3 black-metal tracks (which are also of very uncommon style for Kroda). All of the tracks are so dissimilar that none could be a quintessence of the whole album's preview. That's why we have decided to choose the cover version of the classic Ukrainian Black Metal - "Under the Banners of the Horned Knjaz" by Nokturnal Mortum as the representative of this release.
Die Wiederveröffentlichung des sehr schwer zu bekommenden zweiten im Jahre 2013 erschienenen Album der beiden Finnen, depressiver, atmosphärischen Black Metal!
