Hier nun die Vinyl-Version des (aktuellen) 2022 Albums „BLUT“. 

Das neue Werk von TOTENHEER aus Luzern. Noch im März 2019 verabschiedet sich Gitarrist Abyss (1993 – 2019) freiwillig aus dem Leben. Nun also das zweite voll Album, welches bereits im Januar 2018 aufgenommen, gemischt und gemastert wurde. Daher kann es auch als ein Andenken an den verstorbenen Gitarristen sein.

"Tuiflsrijtt" is Bavarian/Austrian for “devil's ride” and associates both the Krampus runs and the history behind the Krampus figure (myth, legend and tradition). The album functions as a bridge across the borders of this world to the devil's realm and the Rauhnächte, conjuring not only the dark Krampus figure who tortures the flesh with his rods and chains and carries off the doomed souls, but also the essence of the Drude, who torments her victims, Perchten, who take the souls away to the realm of the dead and the raging demons of the Wild Hunt.

"Tuiflsrijtt" is a consistent further development of the existing concept. Atmospheric Black Metal with an old school touch of the 2nd wave, which, however, has clearly increased in speed and aggressiveness compared to previous releases.

Originally released in various limited editions since early 2019, Burning Banners of the Funereal War began the saga that is WARMOON LORD. Arguably the best-kept secret of the ever-fertile Finnish black metal underground, the band is the sole work of one Lord Vrajitor, a prolific figure in the wider Finnish music underground, but also concurrently the mainman of Old Sorcery. But whereas that band largely/mostly works within the dungeon synth genre, WARMOON LORD is pure & proud black metal of a most fantastical nature - equally medieval, maybe even more so, but burning with icy-hot passion that so fired the second wave during the mythical 1990s.

Auch wenn die musikalischen Einflüsse hauptsächlich im Black Metal liegen, lässt sich die Band um Mastermind Niklas Kvarforth nicht auf ein Genre alleine festlegen.

From the past comes the storms...of icy, grandiose, paradigmatically Finnish black metal, bearing the no-bullshit title of Ymir. Never before have the band sounded so invigorated, so robust and roiling in their sweepingly sumptuous ruminations; the aim may be for mystical black metal of a most mid-'90s vintage, but the palpable physicality present here puts Ymir in rarefied company, whether it's past or especially present. Suitably, YMIR create epic screeds which open portals of the imagination and ancient consciousness alike, reverent to the old ways of noble black metal faith but by no means tethered to reductive expression: simply put, YMIR are a black metal band and Ymir is a black metal record, but their collective scope is boundless, brave, and breathing deeply of an essence few are able to grasp in the nowadays scene.
