Das Debütalbum der bayerischen Band SVARTISKHYSTERIK trägt den Titel „Erstes Blut aus Hass und Wut“ und wurde im Jahr 2024 eigenständig, also in Eigenregie, veröffentlicht. Dieses erste Werk der Band hat bereits große Aufmerksamkeit erregt und ist momentan vollständig ausverkauft. Wie schon das erste Album „Erstes Blut aus Hass und Wut“ bietet das zweite Album Black Metal mit deutschen Texten. Titel wie „Donnergroll über dem Schlachtfeld“, „Vollgas in den Untergang“ und „Der Krebs der Neuzeit“ versprechen, wohin es geht. Das Album enthält 10 Titel, darunter eine erfolgreiche WHITE DEATH-Coverversion von „White Death’s Power“. Das erste Album war als DigiCD bereits nach wenigen Wochen ausverkauft.

"Tuiflsrijtt" is Bavarian/Austrian for “devil's ride” and associates both the Krampus runs and the history behind the Krampus figure (myth, legend and tradition). The album functions as a bridge across the borders of this world to the devil's realm and the Rauhnächte, conjuring not only the dark Krampus figure who tortures the flesh with his rods and chains and carries off the doomed souls, but also the essence of the Drude, who torments her victims, Perchten, who take the souls away to the realm of the dead and the raging demons of the Wild Hunt.

"Tuiflsrijtt" is a consistent further development of the existing concept. Atmospheric Black Metal with an old school touch of the 2nd wave, which, however, has clearly increased in speed and aggressiveness compared to previous releases.

Since their formation in 2007, MINENWERFER have pursued a proud 'n' pure vision of black metal idiosyncratically focused on World War I - idiosyncratic, in the sense that the band hail from America but mostly sing in German. What has resulted is a startlingly accomplished canon that has quietly built itself into prolific proportions, with their first album arriving in 2010, followed by albums in 2012 and 2019, and a slew of split releases and EPs in the interim.

Of those many short-length releases, Kriegserklärung can conveniently be seen as a companion to an album release – in this case, 2012's thick-yet-throttling Nihilistischen. And yet, where that album saw MINENWERFER inching closer to a palatable professionalism, the 24-minute Kriegserklärung fully bursts through those doors with a startling clarity, setting the stage for the band's grand 2019 full-length, Alpenpäesse. Which is all to say that MINENWERFER have been mining songwriting gold for many years now!
