Preceded only by an appearance on a split 7 inch and a demo, the aptly titled Canonisation of the Foul Spirit was unleashed to wreak havoc and soil anything pure and holy in utter contempt.

The work of one selfsame Häxär, concurrently of Ernte, HÄXÄR are a lone torch of Swiss black metal. Now, after two albums in as many years, HÄXÄR present their third album of turn-of-the-millennium nastiness: Teufelskult. Ripped raw and ripping, Teufelskult possesses that dead-but-alive electricity that so earmarked many a Moonfog release as Y2K approached.

Originally released as a 7” EP by WOOD-NYMPH RECORDS (Flanders) in 1996 after the vampire purge and introduction of The Black Lourde of Crucifixion, The Marauder, and Lilith to the line up.  This version includes the full ep which did not fit onto the limited 7" vinyl version.
