Thousand Swords, mile stone in the history of Black Metal, and black diamond in history of Graveland. Pure, Unclean Black Metal with elementals of folklore and middle-age music. Recorded in 1994-1995 in the deep forest between howling wolves and dancing witches. The act of pure rebellion against Christianity. The idea of this album was awaking of the ancient spirits of ancestors, to stand with them against the religion of light. With Thousand Swords Graveland started his march to War, war with hypocrisy and false prophets. Riffs and concept of the album has it’s core in music of old Bathory and Emperor, what makes it sound pure but monumental at the same time. For many Thousand Swords is not only classical and best album of Graveland, but one of the most important albums in whole history of Black Metal. First edition of this album was released by Rob Darken’s Isengard Production. This album opened people’s minds for something more, not only new, never done before in a history mixture of black metal essence with influence of old music, but on new character of fight not with weapon but with word and music.
Hateful, depressive, raw black metal from this french master who has survived time and death to haunt this decayed world! This is the anthem to your demise!

This is the very first album released by true Norwegian black metallers Emperor. As one of the founding fathers of the symphonic wing of the genre, Emperor have a highly dramatic sound, balancing melodic dark synth melodies with ferocious howling forward movement. 'In The Nightside Eclipse' is reissued via ICARUS.
An aptly titled record no matter the language, Naturmystik brings together two modern stalwarts of mystical black metal. HÄXANU - whose acclaimed second album, Totenpass, was released last year by AMOR FATI - is the duo of multi-instrumentalist Alex Poole (Chaos Moon, Krieg, Skáphe, Ringarė, etc) and vocalist/lyricist L.C. of Lichmagick.
The band plays a fast, aggressive style of black metal that would go on to be more 'polished' in later releases. But on Frühlingserwachen, the sound is still quite gritty and raw, despite decent production values, and works well with its subject matter of WWI & WWII (with some anti-religious sentiments thrown in for good measure). The band leans into this theme with vocalist Iblis credited for "propaganda" and drummer Mayhemic Destructor as "artillery," a fitting description for the drums on the album.
Offensive, blood- chilling, straightforward black metal. The third and final chapter of trilogy including "Sowing with Salt" & "Justice". The first HATE FOREST album with live drums. Limited edition Digipack CD to the first run, booklet 8 page full colours, sealed.
Horna was created by Shatraug (guitar, vocals) and Moredhel (bass) back in 1993 under the name Shadowed. In 1994 Gorthaur (drums) joined the band and the name was changed to Horna.
