Und während 2020 die Veröffentlichung von Axis Mundi UND zwei Splits mit den Genossen TOTENWACHE und AD MORTEM stattfanden, verschwendet Baptist keine Zeit damit, die brennende Dynamik mit MAVORIMs drittem Full-Length, Non Omnis Moriar, aufrechtzuerhalten. Nicht mehr, aber definitiv nicht weniger, Non Omnis Moriar ist definitiv MAVORIM durch und durch: kalt, schneidend und martialisch, aber bei jeder Wendung Leidenschaft und Schärfe atmend. Während im vorherigen Axis Mundi Baptist epischere und atmosphärischere Texturen erforschte, steigert man hier noch einmal die Intensität. Dieses wahnsinnig eingängige Songwriting, das die Band auszeichnet, wurde auch hier beibehalten und bekam einen Adrenalinschub. Und selbst bei einer Laufzeit von 48 Minuten scheinen die zehn Songs von Non Omnis Moriar wie im Fluge zu vergehen, und man leckt seine Wunden auf dem Schlachtfeld ... wenn man Baptists Berserker-Wut überlebt.
Zu diesem bedeutsamen Anlass erscheint eine limitierte Auflage des Albums mit einem hölzernen Teelichthalter. Trauere um die heldenhaften Toten und erleuchte ihren Weg ins Jenseits mit MAVORIMs Non Omnis Moriar!
